The effect was completely done with CSS3 Animations and CSS3 Transformations; minutes are described as items of an unorderd list and every line over the pomodoro is drawn only by :after pseudoelements applied to some list-items. Javascript was only used to assign the right (Y/Z)translation of the minutes on the timer at the beginning and to manage audio form controls. Full code (HTML, CSS) is visible only after you started the timer ;)
